One cannot say Melissa is a people person. A plant person is more accurate. Born in Santo Tomé, Argentina, she endured living in the city while studying biology. Mel enjoyed learning about the fauna, and how our bodies work and fight diseases and such, but her thing was Botanics. On that matter, she became a specialist. Done with books and classes, Mel moved to the Brazilian countryside so she could connect with the earth and go on learning with practice.
